Success rewarded for first Level 2 Butchery Trailblazers at Meatup

After successfully completing their End Point Assessments (EPA’s), Walter Smith apprentices, Reece Nevard, Curtis Brind and Stephen Maltby were each presented with their Institute for Apprenticeships Apprenticeship completion certificates by IoM Chairman, Bill Jermey, at Meatup. Not only are they the first to reach their Butchery EPA, they are in fact the first apprentices in the entire food industry to complete their apprenticeships.Commenting on their achievement Bill said, Commenting on their achievement Bill said, “Reece, Stephen and Curtis are trailblazers in their own right, and should be very proud of themselves. They are the first of what will soon be hundreds undertaking the Butchery Apprenticeship.
