This one day programme provides practical guidance on animal welfare best practice and current legistation. Designed for meat industry employees, particularly those responsible for animal welfare in lairage and red meat processing plants.
Animal Welfare Certificate Course – Poultry
A one day programme covering the essentials of animal welfare best practice and current legislation. Designed for employees working in the poultry sector of the meat processing industry.
Meat Managers Hygiene and HACCP Workshop
This is a one day food safety and hygiene course, including the basic principles of HACCP. The workshop is aimed at employees involved in practical butchery on a daily basis.
Intermediate Certificate in HACCP Practice (Meat Plant)
Prior food hygiene training dependent, this 1 or 2 day course is for meat processing employees, specifically HACCP staff in abattoirs or meat cutting plants. Candidates also complete a HACCP case study as part of the programme.
HACCP Manual
This Institute of Meat manual can be bought to supplement the HACCP and food safety courses or as a stand-alone manual to help employers implement a HACCP system within their business.
