Robert Bansback OBE

Widely known and respected throughout the meat and livestock industry, Bob brings with him a wealth of knowledge gained from almost half a century dedicated to the sector. 

An Economist by profession, Bob invested 35 years upholding the British meat industry at the Meat and Livestock Commission; with 12 years as Director. Other senior level roles include: Director of Assured Food Standards, Director of the Red Meat Industry Forum, and Chairman of the International Meat Secretariat’s Economics Committee. 

Bob is currently a Visiting Professor in Agricultural Economics at Harper Adams University and liveryman and court member of The Worshipful Company of Butchers.
